My once black dashcam is now a lovely bronze.

Good thing I didn’t get one with a battery.

I had one of those things. It broke after five months. It would always cut off video after a few seconds whenever I plugged it in.

Yeah I bring it in every now in then to make sure it’s not doing that too much. This time I lost my mini usb cable in the move :(

Our OE Honda forward-looking camera (collision avoidance, lane-keeping) says “CAMERA TOO HOT” about half the time we use it in the summer. Which is fine with me, since it sucks when working properly anyway.

For a cheaper one, yes. It occasionally has a few annoying niggles, but overall I’d say it’s good value.

I’ve got the same camera,and the same thing has happened. My bike hubs also used to be black and have turned more of a bronze now.

I have the same model as DC3 since like April and it still works perfectly. Mine has also turned a lovely shade of bronze, and the suction cup let go ONCE, but that’s been the only issue!

Had the same camera. Got it December of 13. It finally died like 2 weeks back.

And as you can see the Florida sun did the same thing.
